Just moving the bands will decrease your rinse time by half as you only need to rinse twice, as opposed to four times. The holder is designed with a notch system, similar to 4 x 5″ film itself, to facilitate easier loading and to ensure the emulsion side of the film is facing inward for greater protection against scratching. Do you guys agitate differently? Mike Z 12 years ago. These seem to be as chemical frugal as tray processing. Not during the pre-rinse.

The advantage of the nikkor ss tank is no center rod to leave out. The thoughtful design of Super System 4 includes a funnel which locks in place to keep reels secure. The holder is designed with a notch system, similar to 4 x 5″ film itself, to facilitate easier loading and to ensure the emulsion side of the film is facing inward for greater protection against scratching. Do you aggitate by inversion? Here is a shot of the hair bands that I used, as you can see they are 7cm in diameter and 4mm thick. Why is it only on and 4×5? Just a quick addendum to my earlier post – I use semi-stand or stand with dilute rodinal, and have had no problems with uneven development. Development will be as even as any method known to man in other words perfect.

Wephota FO 5 4×5″ Chemicals pour without splash, and solution quantities are permanently indicated on the bottom of every tank. I had a large format darkroom for years, made absolutely every possible mistake imaginable so maybe the taco method is good — I never tried it, or heard about it. What I’ve found to work well is the following: In my humble experience, part of the challenge of developing a convex film sheet in a tube is then having to compensate for even development.
