CINEMA 4D HYPERNURBS WEIGHT
This topic is now closed to further replies. Have you set all your Preferences as in R15? Sign In Sign Up. That changes my models from something under 50, polys to something many times that. In case you need that very high polygon model, have the hypernurbs object itself active and make that editable. With Rhino models, there is control, but not the type of control I need, ie some surfaces are very densely meshed, while others are not. I am confused withe the following results.
All the best Sassi. So all you would have to do it apply the displacment map in C4D and then convert that into the high rez model and export that. Archived This topic is now archived and is closed to further replies. There is however another mayby better method. And first I need to find my 10X magnifying glasses. Not as much fun as designing with Rhino or Cinema, but it feeds the cats.
Posted August 22, There are certainly shortcuts and other things that are not mentioned in the Manual. I was referencing an old tutorial and it looked different. It just depends on what the texture looks like. I must click right on selection tool?
I recommend never using HN weighting. Thanks again, you guys have been most helpful.
With Jenna, the texture is baked for those purposes. With Rhino models, there is control, but not the type of control I need, ie some surfaces are very densely meshed, while others are not.
.
And I render with AR2, so its convenient. HN smoothing really only works for objects with relatively low poly counts. Note that it will set the subdivions as is set in the SubdivisonRenderer object properties of the HN.
Low poly models show the textures in renders, but not for STL output. Pick any point s edges or polygons on the cube.
This method is not interactive. You’ve spent a lot on R13 so a few bucks on tutorials would be money well spent.

Just apply the displacment map to the model then you can increase the HN setting in the OM. I always need to make a very high poly model for adding displacement maps textures. You need to buy some modelling tutorials.
AH well in that case I think there is a way to convert the model with the displacment map into a high rez model using the displacment map. You’ve got a lot of spelling mistakes. Sorry about my beginner question, first time with cinema 4d, thanks a lot!!!! Thanks for the reply! That changes my models from something under 50, polys to something many times that. The Benefits of Using HyperNurb Weight Tags in Cinema 4D When Modeling
I work here currently with a tablet. Could I suggest that you load an English spell hyperjurbs dictionary. Prev 1 2 3 Next Page 1 of 3. Thanks for the update, CreativeRaul.
If you need the High poly model for other things you can click on the HN object and convert that to a real poly model. Hhypernurbs makes perfect sense. No registered users viewing this page. To get a rounding, subdivision is needed. And first I need to find my 10X magnifying glasses. And a lot of control of the mesh. HN is a very cool hyernurbs of Cinema, but hoping it would smooth a high poly model does not appear to be what its about.
Hypernurbs weights rely on you selecting which edges you want to have different weights.
Cinema 4D – tips and trics: C4D – Subdivision Surface Weight
Think you meant “Crazy”. I don’t allow inline images hypernuurbs. The new SplinePatch plug-in is offereing some very interesting modeling options. Thanks guys for the insights and ideas. Most of my models areto 4 mil polys. Whenever I subdivide my Weighh object, it always goes back to the original shape.
Weight HyperNurbs not showing up r16???? I used a loop to select the edges of a polygon child to a Subdivision Surface.
Hi everybody, where can i find the HyperNurbs Weight tool in cinema 4d R13?
Sorry 3d Kiwi about my spelling mistakes, my main language obviously is not english! The denser the original mesh, the less smoothing you will see.
